Fortney plans to expand the sales team to service growing demand for future-proof identity solutions, which has propelled MediaWallah to the leader’s circle of identity solutions and the top third of the 2020 Inc 5000 list.

Fortney will be responsible for building out a vertical sales team including direct sales and business development functions to service the company’s growing client roster across financial services, retail, publishing, and more. Fortney joins MediaWallah from Intent IQ, where he was the Executive Vice President, Global Head of Sales and Business Development. At Intent IQ, Fortney successfully built a go-to-market strategy across two completely new patented identity products. He also brought the company into profitability within the first six months of joining through a combination of upsells and new business, and grew the sales team by 300%. Fortney has also held sales leadership roles at Upwave, Drawbridge and Quantcast.
